Troubleshooting

Nothing happened when I clicked "Add Account"

The Add Account button opens your assistant's connector page in a new tab. If your browser blocked the pop-up, allow pop-ups for Zoie and try again — or open the connector page directly:

Then paste https://mcp.zoie.ai as the connector URL.

The assistant connected, but sees no data (or the wrong data)

You're almost certainly connected to a different environment than where your data lives. The MCP endpoint must match the Zoie you sign in to:

ZoieMCP endpoint
app.zoie.ai / zoie.aihttps://mcp.zoie.ai
beta.zoie.aihttps://beta-mcp.zoie.ai
dev.zoie.aihttps://dev-mcp.zoie.ai

Revoke the connection and reconnect using the correct URL. Also confirm you selected the right business on the consent screen — a connection only sees the one business you chose.

The URL won't validate

Enter the endpoint as the bare origin — https://mcp.zoie.ai — with no path and no trailing slash. Don't append /mcp, /sse, or /.

My connection is under the wrong tab

Zoie sorts connections into Claude, ChatGPT, and Other MCP connectors by the client name the assistant registers. Occasionally a client registers under a generic name, so a Claude or ChatGPT connection can show up under Other MCP connectors instead. It still works — look there if it's not on the page you expected.

The activity log is empty

The log only fills in once the assistant actually calls a Zoie tool. Ask it to do something with your CRM (e.g. "list this week's new leads"), then reopen the connection's Activity log tab. Use the Refresh option if needed.

A connection shows "Read + Write" on everything and I didn't choose that

That connection predates scoped permissions and is treated as full access. To restrict it, revoke it and reconnect, approving only the scopes you want. See Permissions & scopes.

The assistant says it can't reach Zoie / tools are missing

  • Confirm the connection still exists and isn't revoked (Settings → Claude / ChatGPT / Other MCP connectors).
  • In the assistant, make sure the Zoie connector is enabled for the chat (some clients require toggling the connector on per conversation).
  • If the action needs write access but the connection is Read only, reconnect with the write scope.

Authorization failed or the redirect looped

  • Make sure you're signed in to Zoie in the same browser before authorizing.
  • Try again from a normal (non-incognito) window so the session cookie persists.
  • If it still fails, revoke any half-created connection in Zoie and restart from Add Account.

Still stuck?

Capture the assistant name, the endpoint URL you used, and any error from the Activity log, and reach out to Zoie support.
